Galicia #7: Coca Castle…Chocolate? No silly, coconut.

We made our last stop at a really cool castle called the Castilla de Coca or something like that. That was neat but not too much to “write home about”. The thing is, by law tour busses are required to stop every two hours and they steadily increase in how long they have to stop for. That was the basic reasoning behind the city before Leon. We were all just kind of annoyed that we stayed longer then was necessary. So, this was about half way home and fit nicely with our required stops. Don’t get me wrong, it was really cool, but we just stayed for a photo opp. We got kind of bored there and broke out the modeling poses eventually. So I’ll end this neat little week with some cool pics. Andrew is a Creepster. Sin Comentarios (except for the one about Andrew).

Galicia #6: LEON

The next place we went was Leon. That was way cool. Here is a 3D map of the city. The Cathedral of Leon is one of the prettiest in the country so they say.Who is the “they” you ask? Well one was Dr. Rhyscamp. We wanted to get a cool pic at night with all of us at this sign. But no one was around to take it except one guy who took one that was super blurry. This one was cool though. And this one too.It was the Chronic…What? Cles of Narnia! What a pretty nighttime view. The next day we went back to the Cathedral and it was even nicer during the day.We finally got our picture. And then some.Peace out Saint James! The cathedral had some pretty awesome stained glass. And a pretty elaborate door.We all went exploring afterwards and it was tons of fun.We found a market selling live bunnies. This wall was interesting.I could have scaled it all the way to the top. We found a park and took an awesome picture. It was one of my favorites. That park was actually pretty cool.Everyone got all caught up in a web.Beware of public drinking fountains in Leon.I had to finish a bunch of reading for a class presentation so I chilled in the park while everyone else went and did stuff. It was nice to get some alone time. I met back up with them in the market. This was a cool building. This was a cool door knob. After we just sat around waiting for the bus and chilling. It was pretty cool.

Galicia #5: This Little Town That No One Cares About!

Our next stop on the way to Leon was this little city in the middle of nowhere that wasn’t really that cool. I only found out its name because someone took a picture of the sign.I mean, it was quaint and all but there was no one there. Everything was closed and we were all pretty much just antsy to get to Leon and see something cool. But it was pretty and all so I got some cool pics. Can Kindra find something special in this picture? We were just walking by and heard the galloping off in the distance and it was pretty cool but all was got was a picture. I did find a random little hobbit hole that I climbed into.My hair was un straightening. Here are some pics that other people took.I mean, look how empty it was. I think the entire time I saw like 3 people. That was about it though.
