So I am currently traveling with my dad looking back on the Amazing experience that I’ve had over the past few months. I hope I have shared a glimpse of it with the few of you who are reading this blog. It was really so amazing and I’m sad to think that it’s over. We as a group became such good friends and it will never be the same again. The last few days were so full of studying and such that it seems like we didn’t get an adequate goodbye. I know we did but I guess I never ever feel like I’ve had an adequate goodbye. It never dons on me that something is ended until long after it ends and then it is too late to do anything about it. In reality, we did a lot for our goodbye. Monday we had a group fireside/testimony meeting. It was really good. I felt a little like I was at EFY but only for a second. On Wednesday we all got together to have a lunch.
A few of the girls made paper plate awards and I won “Best Old Man Wardrobe”.
If you notice that I look scruffy it is because I gave up shaving. Is it a good look for me? Probobly not. We’ll find out I guess because I'm not going to shave till I come home. With a broken camera I am very thankful to Rachel for taking some good pictures and posting them on Picassa.
It was weird to think that it would be the last time I saw most of them till Fall and even when I saw them it would be under such different circumstances. That pretty much sucks because friendship is a really valuable thing and I fear that ours just won’t be the same. But that is ok. We had fun while it lasted. And what a long strange trip it’s been! Now I just have to look forward. Here comes school and here comes life! Its been fun blogging my semester but don’t think it’s over. I’ll try to keep on top of my Dad’s discovery of the Iberian Peninsula!
